California's Great America | 5 Miles
This exciting amusement park is the only theme park in the area with a water park inside. Climb on board one of the park's 11 thrill rides, like FireFall, where passengers are taken 60 feet in the air and then swung in 360 degree vertical arcs through fire and water effects. Flight Deck, a suspended "jet coaster" is a roller coaster where the passengers' legs swing freely as the coaster rolls through loops and turns. For younger visitors, KidZville is a miniature town just for kids, with kiddie rides and lots of pint-sized fun. Need to cool off? Boomerang Bay is the park's exciting water attraction, with a wave pool, huge heated lagoon, lazy river and lots of high-speed water slides as well as play areas in which tots can splash around.
